Organizations participating in the GSA Certification Program must be ISO/IEC 17025 accredited by an accreditation body that meets the requirements in the GSA Certification Program Guide.

This specialty program is covered under A2LA’s information technology field of testing.

Program Requirements

  • ISO/IEC 17025 General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories
  • Additional criteria defined by the GSA, including test methods and additional GSA requirements
  • Optional Requirements for the Accreditation of Field Work
    • A2LA also offers additional requirements for laboratories performing tests in the field (i.e., at other than a permanent laboratory site).
