A2LA Now Accepting Applications for Accreditation of US EPA TSCA Title VI Third-Party Certifiers

A2LA is excited to announce that it is accepting applications for accreditation of Product Certification Bodies which intend to certify levels of formaldehyde in wood products in accordance with 40 CFR Part 770 for the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) TSCA Title VI Third Party Certification program. Further, A2LA will also be accepting applications from Testing Laboratories who wish to test levels of formaldehyde in wood products in support of the EPA Third-Party Certifiers.
More detailed requirements and guidelines for those intending to become an EPA Third-Party Certifier or a supporting Testing Laboratory can be found at either www.ecfr.gov by searching out the appropriate Title and Part numbers (“40 CFR Part 770”) or at www.epa.gov/formaldehyde.
A2LA’s Product Certification Program includes accredited Certification Bodies operating a number of different schemes across the country and world for numerous types of products. With the addition of the EPA Third-Party Certification program, the A2LA program continues to expand and provide stakeholders with world-class accreditation services.
